Originating in Germany, this speciality bacon is inspired by the Schinkenspeck style of bacon. Translated from German Schinken means ham and speck means bacon.
We take cuts from the rump of the pig to make our Schinkenspeck and then dry cure them for a deliciously rich flavour.
Schinkenspeck contains less fat than normal bacon, has a perfect saltiness and a full and round taste.
Our sliced Schinkenspeck style bacon can be fried like normal bacon - please ensure it is cooked before consuming
